In return he saved me…
… or why I think Moffat set up the perfect scenario to save River from the Library in the series finale.
I feel like if you’re not completely self-depricating or self-loathing on this website then apparently you’re an “attention whore” or “egotistical”.
For example, I have gotten hate for saying things like “I thought I looked nice today” or “I’m starting to gain more self confidence” and put off for being attention seeking.
Encouraging people to NOT have self confidence and feel horrible about themselves is disgusting and it’s not healthy. It’s frankly terrible to make people feel bad about themselves for feeling good about themselves.
To add to that, the copious number of ultra-popular self-deprecating text posts on this site is simply ridiculous. Believe it or not, constantly reblogging text posts about how lazy you are, about how bad you are at school, about how you don’t have friends, or about how much your blog sucks doesn’t make you any cooler, and even if these things were true, constantly reblogging posts like that won’t make you any less lazy, get you any better at school, render you any less lonely, or get your blog any more quality.
